In a world full of endless short-form content, it is time we return to the basics: paper and pencil.

Whether you’re a seasoned vet when it comes to the mental side of performance, or a complete novice (like I was most of high school), you’ve come to the right spot.

The Inner Margin is the only training journal you will need to reach your goals. Streamlined. Research-backed. Process-oriented. In essence, everything I wish I had earlier.

More about me:

I currently compete for Duke’s women’s track and field team as a 400m sprinter. In high school, I was a 4x NJ state champion, ranking #2 in the US in the 400m dash my senior year. The funny part? I only joined track my freshman year of high school.

After COVID knocked out my sophomore and half of my junior season, and not training during that time, I became state champion for the first time.

This time drop had nothing to do with my physical training, and everything to do with my mental training. I became obsessed with the science behind the mental side of performance, with tracking my progress in a notebook. I began to conquer the mental side of sport. Of life.

I say all of this not to brag, but to give you some background to my story, the story that lead me to Duke to becoming an All-American. The process that has allowed me to balance being a D1 athlete, premedical student, and founder of a nonprofit (among other sidequests).

I believe that with the proper systems in place, no goal is too small. I’ve condensed my process, and realized I would’ve loved this journal sooner.

I present to you: The Inner Margin

Dream so big it feels impossible, then create a staircase to get there.
